One day Street Photography Workshop with Chot Touch:
The workshop will be focused on the artistic elements and principles that set Street Photography aside from other art forms. The day will be packed with lesson on Street Photography theory, practical outing, photo critic/analysis session and hands-on basic editing Photoshop for every participant at the end of session. Basic technical assistance will also be provided.

 
What you will get out of this workshop?
1. You will understand the ins and out of street photography
2. Tips & Techniques how to shoot street photography
3. Hands-on experience as well as interaction and practical in the street with Chot Touch.

Tentatif program workshop 2 june 2013;
8.00pg – 11.00pg : What is/history of street photography, tips & technique of street photography by Chot Touch
11.10pg – 1.30ptg : sessi outing practical
1.30ptg – 2.30ptg : Makan Tengahari, Solat Zohor
2.30ptg – 5.30ptg : Sessi review, photo critics dan basic proses editing. Pilih 3 foto yg terbaik utk sessi photo critics dan basic proses editing.
*sila bawa notebook dan basic editing software untuk proses editing

The Invisible Photographer Asia Awards competition 2013

The Invisible Photographer Asia Awards competition is organised by Invisible Photographer Asia Pte Ltd (IPA), an organization based in Singapore.

This awards competition is free to enter by photographers of all levels and experience, based in Asia for an extended period of time, no less than 6 months. The judges and competition organiser reserve the right to verify this condition by requesting passport and/or proof from the photographer. In cases of doubt, any photographer violating this condition will be, at a minimum, disqualified from the competition.

Photographs entered for the Street Photography Asia Award must be taken in Asia within the last 24 months i.e. anytime from 2011–2013 is accepted. Entries to the Photo Essay Asia Award must explore a social, economic or political issue in Asia, and comprise mostly photographs taken within the last 24 months i.e. anytime from 2011–2013.

The content of a photograph must not be altered in Photoshop or by any other means. No element should be digitally added to or subtracted from any photograph and the image must be a truthful representation of whatever happened in front of the camera during exposure. Retouching only to eliminate dust and scratches is acceptable. Photographers may crop a photo and perform colour corrections and processing in keeping with a realistic representation of the subject. You may change an image from colour to black and white. Extreme photo manipulation, stitching and combining of images is forbidden. The judges and awards organiser IPA reserve the right to request for the original (un‐retouched) raw image files, negatives and/or slides for examination and verification. In cases of doubt, any photographer violating competition standards will be, at a minimum, disqualified from the competition.
